[Video] 004 ☽
[He's been given so much to think about these days. After his talk with Akito, that negativity, while not necessarily dampening his spirit, did get to him somewhat. To think that people still thought that way...it was a little frustrating, after everything he had fought for--
And then...A parrot and a missing name on the contact's list. It's little wonder his expression is contemplative, bordering a little, perhaps, on quietly sad.
It isn't like him to use his SFC, no, except for answering other's calls or privately calling others, but this is something he needs to do.
And perhaps...well, loneliness is something that he doesn't much deal with, normally, but even for someone like him, to lose is lonely. No matter how much he gets used to it.
But when he turns to the screen, his expression is as calm as always. There is...also a yellow parrot on his shoulder, which might be familiar to anyone who knew a [Bad username or site: treasurehunted title= @ livejournal.com]. The parrot seems to find picking up strands of blue hair and dropping them entertaining, so that is what it is doing.
Minato doesn't seem to mind--or at least, he ignores it.]
Is anyone familiar with how to take care of large birds?
[He tilts his head, shifting--the parrot squawks before steadying itself from the movement.]
Any advice would be appreciated.
[He hesitates a moment more--it's his duty to look after this parrot, right? If...aniki is gone, as it seems to be.
And then a flap of large wings--the bird is rather too large to sit comfortable on Minato's small frame--and he fumbles with the SFC as a result--]
Ah--
[And the feed clicks off.
Oops?]

I can still troll you with her. /don't tempt me./
I have a large bird myself. I would first suggest setting him down somewhere where he would be more comfortable.
Does he have a stand he could perch on, or a cage to live in?
......I'd like to see you try! >|
Sigh.]
...I'll have to go find a perch soon. I doubt he'll stand for a cage.
[This is a pirate's bird, after all.]
You also have a bird?
[...wait what. The unicorn has a bird--]
it's on.
so on. You're not gonna win this one.
I can imagine so. Not many birds would be able to say they have.
[If birds could, you know, talk. In the world of talking ponies, that might very well be possible though. Who knows. And while this conversation is continuing to be surreal--
He turns the SFC to capture the bird on the bed who is currently staring right back, unruffled.]
This is Chibioni. And my name is Minato. It's nice to meet you.
[Talking unicorn.]
we shall see. we shall see.

Equestria...I've never heard of it. Can everyone there talk?
[Like...you...? He's trying to be tactful but. You're a pony, okay.]
no subject
Yes, but not every creature can talk.
no subject
I see. What about the birds?
[As if on cue, Chibioni "says" something--sounds Japanese, really--but that isn't quite what Minato means.]
no subject
Perhaps some, but mostly no. However some tend to mimic the sounds they hear around them.
no subject
Then it isn't too different from home as far as that is concerned.
[...but talking pony.]
I've seen another pony like you around, though I haven't met her. Have you been here long, though?
no subject
But no, I've only been here for about a month. It's certainly a change from my own world. Humans aren't exactly common there.
no subject
[Hey now, Princess. Why don't you know--]
Is that so? I suppose that makes sense. Unicorns aren't particularly common in my world in return.
[...as in there's only one he knows of and it lives in his psyche.]
no subject
[laughs.]
Isn't it fascinating what all you can learn from meeting new people? Who knows what other worlds may hold.
no subject
[...]
With wings.
[...]
That would make her a pegasus, correct?
[...oh right.]
But that's true. Meeting the people here is always worthwhile.

no subject
Yes, that's right. That must be her. Like I said, I didn't get her name, but at the very least she's also here.
