The Defense Force contains a branch for Combat, a branch for Support and Relief and one more for Logistics and what is not otherwise covered already. People are divided into each branch as suits their abilities.
During times of peace the bubbles are merely patrolled by groups that follow regular shifts. However, with the recent news, it seems as though that will have to change to more alert proceedings.
Is there anything in particular you want to know?

How many are in each branch? Where and when are these patrols?
[ He's about to ask if any particular branch is lacking, but he pauses instead. ]

There are currently around 40 people in the force--the majority work in patrols and specialize in combat, while around 15 act as support and healing.
