[At first, when your SFC clicks on, all that can be seen is blue--the blue of the ocean above the barrier. The video seems to be...rocking back and forth, slowly, and the gentle slap slap slap of what might be...small waves...? against something can be heard.

A long pause.

Then the video shifts and changes before settling on a young man who seems to be...lying down, holding the SFC up, peering at it.

A red light...?]

...It's recording...?

[A puzzled (and slightly soggy) blink, and he begins to sit up.]

Why am I on a boat--

[Too late. His sitting up tilts the small boat off balance.

[ Good thing Minato didn't notice Pharos on that list. Ryoji hasn't checked yet. ]

Oh. Akihiko-senpai is here? That's good. Yeah, we should probably talk to him.

[His eyes probably skimmed over it in a sort of disbelief.]

[But let's timeskip this and pretend the conversation with Akihiko below is rather similar to what he hears, or something.

Yay time paradoxes. EITHER WAY, point being. Minato is a liiiiittle confused by the call. And by a little, I mean a lot. After all, it isn't every day your senpai forgets you completely.

A long pause as he turns off the SFC, looking down at the device despite the blank screen.]

[ Ryoji waits patiently. The smile he'd had on has faded by now; he can tell this wasn't a good call.

No, he could always tell when Minato was upset. Maybe it was just the link they shared, even if he wasn't expressing it. ]

The long pause continues for just a bit longer.

What...does he even say to that? It is just...so unexpected and strange that he is not quite sure how to process it.

And so, as per usual, he simply continues forward. Eventually, his brain will catch up.]
