[Video] 001 ☽
[At first, when your SFC clicks on, all that can be seen is blue--the blue of the ocean above the barrier. The video seems to be...rocking back and forth, slowly, and the gentle slap slap slap of what might be...small waves...? against something can be heard.
A long pause.
Then the video shifts and changes before settling on a young man who seems to be...lying down, holding the SFC up, peering at it.
A red light...?]
...It's recording...?
[A puzzled (and slightly soggy) blink, and he begins to sit up.]
Why am I on a boat--
[Too late. His sitting up tilts the small boat off balance.
Tilting--
Splash!
...oops.
ooc: feel free to respond with either video or action, guys!]
A long pause.

You don't understand... everything is all my fault.
[ Even breaths are paced out; he's... so, so hurt. Ryoji closes his eyes. ] You have to understand that what I told you is only what is comparable for a human. Even then... I am still the messenger. And if we're stuck here... who knows what will happen?
no subject
[It's so apt, haha. Came across it in English class
learning those idioms in other languages is trickyand it struck him deeply.]Nyx's coming is not your fault. It's a cause, just like your status as a messenger is a cause of what really made her decide to...listen to what humanity was saying.
But thanks to you...we have the information we need to make a decision, instead of never receiving a choice at all. So...thank you, Ryoji-kun.
[...Look at you, you made him tl;dr. >:]

M-Minato-kun...
[ He isn't sure what to say. ] You... but... you don't understand what you could be facing. I don't... want you to suffer.
no subject
I would rather be allowed to make my own choice--to live my life the way I want to live it, no matter how short it might be--than to be peacefully ignorant.
no subject
[ A quiet glance. ] You still have fourteen more days or so to make a choice. If you change your mind, I won't mind. Really. I'm... going to disappear anyway, in the end. It's for the best.
no subject
Killing Ryoji.
It seems like an unimaginable decision, as does ignoring what will happen in the future.]
...If we know what is coming, we shall be able to face it.
[...a bit of a thoughtful look.]
Even if she is undefeatable, I don't believe anything is useless.
no subject
Why won't you listen to reason...? Even so, I don't want to see you all go through that. You deserve... better.
[ He just... doesn't understand it. ]
no subject
Whatever we decide, better is looking to the future.
[And then, back to the original topic--]
So there should be no issues with you seeing the others. If they are here.
no subject
R-right...
[ He obviously doesn't believe it, though. He deserves to be hated, anyway. ]
no subject
Until then, he picks up the now dry scarf, shaking it out and holding it up.]
...It doesn't seem to be damaged.
no subject
Thank you, Minato-kun!
[ He bounces back quickly-- ]
no subject
You're welcome, Ryoji-kun.
[...He picks up the SFC, scrolling through for a moment, before shaking his head.]
...We should likely try to contact Akihiko-senpai sometime soon. His is the only name I recognize on the contacts list.
[...well. Other than 'Arisato', but that's just...]
no subject
Oh. Akihiko-senpai is here? That's good. Yeah, we should probably talk to him.
no subject
I'll call him.
[But let's timeskip this and pretend the conversation with Akihiko below is rather similar to what he hears, or something.
Er.
Yay time paradoxes. EITHER WAY, point being. Minato is a liiiiittle confused by the call. And by a little, I mean a lot. After all, it isn't every day your senpai forgets you completely.
A long pause as he turns off the SFC, looking down at the device despite the blank screen.]
no subject
No, he could always tell when Minato was upset. Maybe it was just the link they shared, even if he wasn't expressing it. ]
... Minato-kun? I'm... guessing that's not good news.
no subject
The long pause continues for just a bit longer.
What...does he even say to that? It is just...so unexpected and strange that he is not quite sure how to process it.
And so, as per usual, he simply continues forward. Eventually, his brain will catch up.]
...It seems Akihiko-senpai doesn't remember me.
no subject
[ Sorry, his brain, however, is grinding to a halt right here and now, with himself. BRO, PLS EXPLAIN. ]
no subject
Another pause. This is...a little difficult, yes.]
Are you familiar with a 'Haruka Arisato', Ryoji-kun?
no subject
[ He pauses. ]
So... does this mean you have a really hot sister you haven't introduced me to, Minato-kun? You've been holding out on me! I'm a little hurt you haven't introduced us.
[ He just... cannot help naturally being ridiculous. ]
no subject
A sigh.]
...It seems as though, in this Akihiko-senpai's world, Haruka Arisato exists.
[...]
...And I do not.
no subject
no subject
Minato simply closes his eyes, continuing calmly.]
This place--Vatheon--is another world. And it brings people from other worlds to it.
...Apparently, it may also bring people from other timelines or dimensions.
[...]
In Akihiko-senpai's dimension, there are still shadows and the dark hour, but...Haruka Arisato is capable of using multiple personae and is leading SEES.
[...He tilts his head slightly, expression still rather calm, if even more dampened than usual.]
Senpai doesn't remember me, because in his dimension, I never existed.
[...this entire concept kind of really sucks. :c]
[1/3]
Other worlds... and timelines? That's possible?
[2/3]
So... this possibly hot chick... exists instead of you?
[3/3]
[ ... Nooooo! He won't remember ANYTHING? Oh god. This is just... finally starting to sink in, yeah. He's kind of devastated. :< How could he not remember his bff and training buddy and the awesome always cool SEES leader? ]
