[So amidst all of the insanity? The kraken attack and the craziness? There is Minato making an oh-so necessary broadcast. He seems to be leaning against the side of a building, but despite the crashing of what must be tentacles and the panicked atmosphere, he looks pretty calm. Is that blood on his temple...? Oh maybe. And he might be holding his torso, but details.

Crash. He blinks, glancing up for a moment, before shaking his head slightly.]

It seems like the kraken's tentacles completely surround the bubble. If you're looking for a safe place to go, the caverns beneath the church's ruins should be safe from the tentacles. At the very least, the people who can't fight and the injured can go there.

[A breath--is that a wince? Nah, can't be.]

If you need any help, let me know. The Defense Force should be able to help.

[That's what they're for, right? Another flash of a wince and he sets up a filter.

Focus on the center bubble for now. We have to take care of the people who can't defend themselves. Will anyone volunteer to keep guard underground, in case there is something still down there...?

Hubert-san. Are you alright? I need your help with something.

Stick together. We know that we can take them on together, but separating is too dangerous.

[It seems like common sense--but he remembers what happened to Aigis, So he just had to be sure. And then he turns off the filter and--fails to turn off the feed. He is looking around when a tentacle crashes down nearby. He jumps, cringing in what seems to be pain and slumps back against the wall, dropping the SFC. Clatter clatter.

So that is what he does, though the doctors cannot do much for broken ribs even in Vatheon.

He'll be leaning against the wall watching the chaos around while he waits for N to return.]

[ N comes back and gives Minato a full report of the situation, hoping it will relax him some. Then: ]

[And a quiet nod in response to that, even as he focuses on breathing.]

Yes. I'll be alright, N.

[This is not the time where he admits that there's not much the doctors can do for him but give him pain medication.]

[He doesn't trust himself to be able to defend himself on the way back--because obviously, he's not staying there.]

[ Minato could ask N to go anywhere with him and he would. ]

[He nods, pushing himself up to walk again.]

The dorm has been destroyed a bit, so we're staying at an abandoned furniture store at the moment. I'd like to check on the caverns before going back, though.

The caverns? All right.

[ N reaches out to take his hand. ]

[He accepts N's hand, standing straight as he can and starting to walk, leading the way.

At the very least, he's managing well enough on the way, though he keeps an eye peeled for any tentacles coming their way.]

[ N keeps an eye on them too, occasionally sending his team forward to drive the tentacles away. It might be noticeable, however, that as soon as the tentacles withdraw, so do the Pokemon, and they are not hitting as hard as they could.

N really does not want to hurt the Kraken if he can help it. ]

[Minato notices this, eventually...

And it does not surprise him. He can't say much about it, of course; what N decides to do as relates to the kraken is up to him...and indeed, he'd be more surprised if N wasn't trying in his own way to protect the kraken as best he can.

...

Regardless, they make it to the caverns eventually, and a quick check-in later has Minato nodding.]

[He looks around as well, before shaking his head somewhat.]

I've been down here a few times with Yukari-chan and then the Defense Force.

It's a dead end, but it should be safe.

I'm certain there's something behind them, but we haven't gotten them open yet.

I don't know. Whatever it is, we can handle it, just like we can handle the kraken.
