[So amidst all of the insanity? The kraken attack and the craziness? There is Minato making an oh-so necessary broadcast. He seems to be leaning against the side of a building, but despite the crashing of what must be tentacles and the panicked atmosphere, he looks pretty calm. Is that blood on his temple...? Oh maybe. And he might be holding his torso, but details.

Crash. He blinks, glancing up for a moment, before shaking his head slightly.]

It seems like the kraken's tentacles completely surround the bubble. If you're looking for a safe place to go, the caverns beneath the church's ruins should be safe from the tentacles. At the very least, the people who can't fight and the injured can go there.

[A breath--is that a wince? Nah, can't be.]

If you need any help, let me know. The Defense Force should be able to help.

[That's what they're for, right? Another flash of a wince and he sets up a filter.

Filter to: Defense Force you know who you are]

Focus on the center bubble for now. We have to take care of the people who can't defend themselves. Will anyone volunteer to keep guard underground, in case there is something still down there...?

Hubert-san. Are you alright? I need your help with something.

[Filter to: SEES/all of you P3 people]

Stick together. We know that we can take them on together, but separating is too dangerous.

[It seems like common sense--but he remembers what happened to Aigis, So he just had to be sure. And then he turns off the filter and--fails to turn off the feed. He is looking around when a tentacle crashes down nearby. He jumps, cringing in what seems to be pain and slumps back against the wall, dropping the SFC. Clatter clatter.

[It does help, at least with the pain somewhat, though broken bones were serious even in their own world; here in Vatheon where their magic is even less effective, it can't quite fix them. But regardless of the paleness on his face, Minato does offer Yukari a bit of a smile.]

[When Ken and Akihiko appear on the scene, he blinks, before tilting his head, perhaps somewhat sheepishly.]

Ah...It's not too serious.

Heh...

[She does try to smile back when he notices his--but she can tell. She can tell by how pale he is, by that video broadcast, by the blood that's all over him--he's still in bad shape. And there's nothing she can do to change it...]

You should thank me when I've done something worth it. I...I can't believe this is the best I can do...

[A frustrated look at her Evoker. She's about ready to throw the damn thing, for all the good it's been doing her, but Akihiko and Ken showing up luckily derails that train of thought.

She feigns something of a smile, because everything else aside, she is grateful for the familiar faces.]

[As he and Ken arrive in the alley, Akihiko wastes no time in moving quickly to Minato's side. He bends at the knees and carefully brings an arm behind the other boy's back, not daring to apply very much pressure just yet. He'll have to thank Yukari for finding him later - right now, getting Minato some help is a priority.]

Hey - hold onto my shoulder if you can... Think you can walk?

[In the event he can't, Akihiko is prepared to carry him if he has to.]

[Ken gets out of the way, not wanting to mess anything up. He knows he doesn't have Akihiko's strength, so he just stands next to Yukari.]

[Everything is happening rather quickly now, which is almost enough to make his head spin, but nonetheless Minato merely pauses, taking as deep a breath as he can manage, and first nodding firmly to Akihiko.

He'll walk. That much he's determined to do. It'd be unfortunate if he were a burden on his team this early into the fight, huh?]

I can walk.

[So he merely shifts to hold onto Akihiko's shoulder, knowing that he can trust the other to support him as he does; he doesn't have to walk alone, after all. And then he turns to Yukari, shaking his head.]

No...I'm lucky that you all are here. So thank you.

[tsundyne]

[Yukari stands by Minato on his other side, ready to support him. Akihiko is physically stronger--there's no arguing that, so it's for the best, she supposes. She stares at the two of them, and then to Ken, before making something of a suggestion.]

...We should get somewhere safe.

[She does smile somewhat at being thanked, but is sure to keep her priorities in order. Minato would need to rest up, while they decide their next move.]

[With Yukari supporting Minato's opposite side, they'll be able to move him a lot faster. For now though, his attention moves to Ken - Ken lacks both the height and physical strength to be much help in transporting their leader but that doesn't mean he's useless.]

Ken, you lead the way. Find us the safest route possible - we're counting on you.

I think there's some stores nearby that are safe.

[He nods, and heads towards the larger road. It might be a little bit more in the open, but there's less likely to be trouble from the debris.]

[He doesn't have to do much here--he depends on his team and trusts them, and so he can trust them to find the best option here. So he falls silent, nodding quietly at their suggestions and simply supporting his own weight as best he can.]

[Yukari is silent as well, as she watches Ken lead the way, following him at Minato's own pace. She refuses to rush him, for fear of making his injury worse, so they would just have to be patient.

Then again, she's fairly sure they both understand the need to pace themselves. Even as the stores come into view, as they walk along the large road.]

[caesar]

[Like Yukari, Akihiko knows that Minato can't be rushed right now. Trusting Ken to guide them, he continues to move at that slower pace.]

Just a bit further... We'll have you resting in no time, Arisato. Leave it to us.

[Ken keeps walking, and points to a (mostly) undamaged furniture store.]

We can rest in there.

[The owners look like they've fled, so it'll be okay to just walk in. Probably.]

[He does trust them, he trusts them completely--with his health, with his life, and with each other. He's trusted them for a long time. After all...they've been through a lot together.

So he nods, trusting in Akihiko's words, though all he says is--]

Alright.

[There's a lot unsaid, but that's how he is, isn't he? He's leaving it to them because they don't need his guidance, and it seems it's their turn to take care of him. But with them stepping up to the task so quickly, Minato can't even have the heart to protest that he's not that badly hurt.

And so they walk into the empty store, Minato blinking and glancing around. Huh. He doesn't think he's ever been in here before...]

[Yukari walks in with the rest of them, glad to have the company who're being more encouraging than she is at the moment. She perhaps doesn't realize how long she's been silent, but--

Once she catches herself, she knows she must say something. So she looks around the store briefly...]

It...looks abandoned.

[Akihiko glances around the building - it's definitely deserted but it does seem safe enough. Ken made a good choice.]

It'll serve it's purpose. [He gestures with a nod over towards a mattress that's displayed on a bed frame.] Let's get him over there, Takeba...

[Ken scurries over and picks up some pillows, putting them on the bed so that they can prop Minato up if he wants.]

[Which is most certainly what he wants. As much as he likes sleep, laying down at a time like this seems a little wrong, even for one as collected as him. So he sits on the bed, out of breath despite their slow pace there.

But he does offer a quiet 'thanks'.

What now...?

Well he's not particularly sure how he should direct his team at the moment because he has to find out something very important first.]

Are you going to go help the others?

[SEES does tend to play hero. And he honestly doesn't mind if they do now that he's safe; he just needs to knowwhat it is they want to do.]

[Big Damn Hero tends to be synonymous with SEES.]

We aren't going to just leave you here, Arisato. Rest for a few minutes - [He turns his gaze to Yukari and then to Ken before it settles back on Minato.]

We're all going together.

He's right.

[Yukari gives a serious look at Akihiko, and at Ken. Her gaze lingers longer than Akihiko's does, perhaps because she still hates seeing their leader like this--but after a moment, she looks at him again. Her look is still as just as serious, as if she's trying to tell him that they won't back down.]

Fuuka is probably helping the others right now, the best she can. We can keep her updated, and join her--when we're all ready.

[He nods, and smiles a little bit, despite everything.]

We'll wait as long as you need to. I think... we could all use a rest, at least for a few minutes.

[...Oh. That's...well, that's more than he was expecting in a way, but he's definitely touched.

But of course...that's what he said, wasn't it? Stick together as a team. Of course that goes for all of them.

So despite everything, he smiles faintly, nodding.]

That sounds like a good idea. No need to break up the team here.

[Akihiko sits at the edge of the bed Minato's resting on, clasping his hands together between his knees and looking over to Yukari.]

Takeba, do you think we can contact Yamagishi from here?

[tsundyne]

...Yeah. The communicator should do the trick.

[She grabs hers from out of her pocket, where she'd tucked it for their walk over here. Immediately, she pulls up the contact list, scanning for Fuuka's name.]

She's probably helping people get to shelter, but she'll definitely want to know he's all right.

[Especially after seeing that broadcast. Scrooollling all the way to the bottom then, where all the other Y names are--]

[Ken, meanwhile, is looking over Minato. Even if healing spells don't work, there's got to be something he can do to help... he doesn't have bandages or anything but he'll rip up pillows for gauze if he has to.]

[Oh Ken. He's fiiiine. Mostly.

But either way he...lets them do their thing. Hasn't that always, in a way, been his leadership style? Step in when he has to, but when it counts he knows SEES can take care of themselves just fine.

So his input is just a quiet comment.]

...She should be in the caverns.

[But yeah getting in contact with her sounds like an excellent idea.]
