[When the SFC clicks on the first thing to be seen is a Zorua peering curiously into the screen; it would appear we know the culprit for turning it on.]

--Benzomaru, come on.

[The Zorua moves away cheerfully to show a blue-haired protagonist sitting at what looks like the Welcoming Committee desk, if the papers and the pictures of a cheerful Pikachu behind him are any indication. It looks like he didn't mean to make the broadcast at all, but what can you do when you've got a very mischievous Pokemon?

He reaches for his headphones then, lifting them to his ears and fiddling with his MP3 player for a moment--

But only for a brief moment, because then he frowns and lowers the headphones, looking them over with a curiously sad expression coming from him. The Zorua yips at him and he sighs, nodding.]

I think they're broken...

[It's just a pair of headphones, right? He does look rather sad about it, though--

But regardless, the Zorua takes his voice as an invitation, jumping up and knocking the SFC off the desk. It clatters to the ground, and--

[Colette had been going to ask what was broken, but then she saw the Zorua.]

Is that your pet? He's so cute!

[Oh-- That's a new face. He blinks, before nodding.]

Yes, pretty much. He is, isn't he?

[As if he knows he's being talked about, Benzomaru hops forward to peer into the screen excitedly, blocking Minato.]

[She blinks and then smiles.] Pretty much? Is he more of a companion than a pet?

[When the Zorua covers the screen, she laughs a bit and then talks to it (him?)] You're Benzomaru? You're really cute.

[Minato's voice can be heard behind the fuzzy face, but the Zorua doesn't seem to have any intentions of moving.]

Yes, that's right.

[And it's pretty clear that he knows he's being talked about; he yips in response, trying to get closer and nudging at the screen.

The pretty girl is complimenting hiiiiiim.

And from behind, rather deadpan--]

I think he likes you.

I'm glad! [She doesn't seem to mind the deadpan at all, smiling at Benzomaru and giggling when he nudges the screen.]

Do you know what he is? He doesn't look like anything I've seen before. [She frowns for a moment.] Not exactly like anything I've ever seen anyway.

[She pauses and blinks.] Oh! I was going to ask; what did you think was broken?

[Minato blinks at the questions and statements, sorting through them quietly before making a simple response, even as Benzomaru sucks up the attention.]

He's a Zorua; it's a Pokemon from another world. But my headphones are broken, I think.

[He calls the Pokemon over softly, and Benzo steps back to allow him to show her the headphones in question.]

[Colette blinks as she absorbs the information and then tilts her head.] A Pokemon?

[She stares at the headphones and sighs, shaking her head.] I don't know anything about headphones...I never saw them until I came here. I'm sorry I couldn't help.

Oh...it's not a big deal.

[He shakes his head as well, dropping them down to the desk.]

I'll deal with them later. But yes, he's a Pokemon. They're...creatures from one of the other worlds. Like animals are from my world...
