[When the SFC clicks on the first thing to be seen is a Zorua peering curiously into the screen; it would appear we know the culprit for turning it on.]

[The Zorua moves away cheerfully to show a blue-haired protagonist sitting at what looks like the Welcoming Committee desk, if the papers and the pictures of a cheerful Pikachu behind him are any indication. It looks like he didn't mean to make the broadcast at all, but what can you do when you've got a very mischievous Pokemon?

He reaches for his headphones then, lifting them to his ears and fiddling with his MP3 player for a moment--

But only for a brief moment, because then he frowns and lowers the headphones, looking them over with a curiously sad expression coming from him. The Zorua yips at him and he sighs, nodding.]

I think they're broken...

[It's just a pair of headphones, right? He does look rather sad about it, though--

But regardless, the Zorua takes his voice as an invitation, jumping up and knocking the SFC off the desk. It clatters to the ground, and--

[Bawww Yukari. He lets her take the headphones, fiddling absently with his now useless mp3 player.]

Mmm. Well...we can worry about that when we get there. [She finally gives up after a while, putting the headphones down. She sounds unsure, but tries to look enthusiastic for him, smiling.] We should probably finish up here first, right?

It's almost time for the new arrivals again.

[She lets out a sigh, shuffling some papers around and putting them aside in an organized manner as she goes through them--sorting them into piles.]

[He nods at that, turning to glance at the mostly prepared welcoming baskets that line the shelves.]

...I think we're as prepared as can be. Thankfully, we're all pretty used to this by now, aren't we?

[She takes a glance at the baskets as well, following his gaze.]

You've got a point there, I guess. [She chuckles, adding another one to the shelf that she'd just finished, after dealing with the last of the not-fun paperwork.] Think this is enough, then?
