Oh, we'll have to talk about that later. I was thinking there must be a better way to figure out something that simple.
[ And she's curious about "hex", but that's a curiosity she'll return to later. She walks inside, and briefly out of curiosity, she does look around to see if Minato's house has any personal touches. It's not like there's much to add here with so little color, but... ]
I don't know. I think everyone has a way of keeping themselves busy. [ She shrugs, then looks to Minato with a smile. Hers (at the moment) is mystery solving, after all. ] But if it isn't a bother, I'd like to see Vriska.
[It makes sense that that's what Elizabeth would be most concerned with at a time like this; after just having come back from stone, of course she'd want to see someone who's still afflicted.
So.
Minato just nods, and shuffles on over towards the other room where Vriska-Statue stands, covered in blankets with a DO NOT TOUCH sign hanging around her neck.
[ The way that Vriska is being taken care of does make her smile, since it's the sort of thing that just warms Elizabeth's heart, really. Friendship dokis are hard to come by when your only friend is a scary bird man and, uh. Booker.
But she walks closer to peer at Vriska curiously, but it's only a moment before she looks back at Minato. ]
I know it says not to touch, but... Can I?
[ There's something she feels she might learn from the tactile part here, even though she's not expecting much. Plus, it's Elizabeth, so it's not like she's going to be anything but exceedingly delicate. ]
[ She can only imagine it's bad, after all. She might be curious, but not curious enough to risk something bad happening. So instead, she gingerly touches Vriska's stone shoulder, which is as cool as she would expect, then places a palm against her cheek to be certain. And naturally, it's definitely stone. ]
It's so strange...
[ She steps back and shakes her head ]
I wish I could see what happens when she changes back. It really is just... stone.
[Correct, Elizabeth, she's definitely stone. Minato will at least offer up a bit more info for her; he's got his eyes fixed on Vriska's frozen expression as he musingly offers up:]
We've tried all of the magic we can think of here. Maribelle-san helped as well, but nothing worked. There's...definitely something strange about it.
It might not be magic. [ She says with certainty, though really, that's tenuous. She feels like it's not magic because magic doesn't make sense to her. But the alternative isn't that much better. Elizabeth looks around the room as if she's looking for something, though she doesn't really explain what. ]
And you haven't seen anything strange around her?

I... I have a guess, but I don’t know if it’s even true.
[ Elizabeth looks back to him as she crosses her arms lightly. ]
For something—someone—to change like this on such a fundamental level... I’ve seen something like it before. But for it to happen, you would have seen something strange. I always called them Tears.

[And not being like John who was the cause of this sign for being like "WHAT IF WE JUST BREAK OFF THE STONE UNTIL VRISKA SHOWS UP".]
I just wasn't sure what would happen to her if something broke, so...
[VERY...very Wary of that happening, honestly.]

I'm not really sure what else it would be... [Not magic, huh...
But.
That said--]
No, nothing that I've noticed. She's my roommate, so if there was something strange here, it's weird that it didn't get me too.
[But he's fine, obviously.]

Would it have been something I definitely would have noticed? I've never heard of a... Tear before.
[He can almost sense the capital letter there.]
