oh. that makes sense. i think dave has too. i mean i lived in the suburbs but i know about camping and stuff. ...we might have to outsource for geese gender identification.
same here. not really, anyway. but maybe that is why we are here now? whoever brought us here (mr. f or whoever) probably knew we would have no idea what's going on. which is terrible. but it makes us have to ask people for help and team up. the teaming up thing, i think, is something he values a lot.
I think you're right about that. You've noticed it too, right? That a lot of the quests make us work together in new ways or with new groups. Like that's somehow something important here to Mr. F too.
well it would be nice if he told us what the power of friendship could do in this case? if it is solving an issue, i wish we knew what KIND of issue. besides the color thing. but i wonder if there is something bigger than that. what with the shadows and other monsters and stuff.
There's definitely more than just the color thing.
There has to be, right? Things like this don't just happen without there being some sort of reason. We just have to figure out what it is for ourselves.
i believe in us a lot more than i used to! which sounds bad, but i just mean we have all been working together for a while now and we are getting used to each other. so it means we are making progress and making friends. trusting each other? that kind of thing. and i think that is really good. we will figure it out. i just hope it is not too long from now.
i mean kind of. i have something that i need to do, but i do not know how it's going to go or what'll happen next. it is important, but i'm not sure which way it will sway to. does that make any more sense?
A little bit, yeah. I think so, anyway. So it's really important and you need to get back, but you're not necessarily in a hurry to get back to a choice like that. Right?

24 geese is so many geese... but got it. I'll make the collars different colors or patterns so you can tell the difference.
How's that?
no subject
that would be perfect! we still have to pick which ones we are keeping anyway.
no subject
What basis are you picking them on, anyway? Personality?
no subject
we're hoping they'll lay eggs for us that we can eat too.
no subject
You're keeping four girls and hoping they'll lay eggs?
Don't you need a boy goose for that?
no subject
ok well! we will figure it out and find the least lethal boy goose.
gander? whatever.
no subject
Probably a good idea, yeah... Good luck with that, by the way. I don't even know how you tell goose gender.
no subject
i'll make dave do it. he's the one who caught them and i have no idea how to tell either.

like before we showed up here.

I've lived in cities pretty much all my life.
[So.
No.]

i think dave has too.

I wish I was more prepared for stuff like this, but it's not like we learned about geese or living in the woods or wildlife in school.

[Can't knock the power of friendship, after all; he's seen it at work for himself.]

besides the color thing.

Don't worry, John. We can do it.

trusting each other? that kind of thing.
and i think that is really good.
we will figure it out.
i just hope it is not too long from now.
no subject
no subject
yes? kind of.
but it can wait still i think.
you?
no subject
No, I'm not in any real hurry. There's nothing I'm in a big rush to get back to, which helps, I guess.
What do you mean by "kind of"?
no subject
i have something that i need to do, but i do not know how it's going to go or what'll happen next.
it is important, but i'm not sure which way it will sway to.
does that make any more sense?
