If this is what recovering look like, I'm afraid to ask how bad it was the first two days.

[He pushes his thumb into his bottom lip, worried.] I guess it makes sense that you can't keep much food down but... [ He's worried that you haven't really eaten in a few days.] Maybe I can make you something light that you can eat later, when you feel like it.
