[And soon enough, he's opening up!!

Mostly because he was definitely just like, typing away at his laptop in the living room.]

Ruva-san...? What's up?

[he pauses.

and then whips out a flower crown that he promptly puts on minato's head.]

[O... oh???

Minato definitely blinks blankly at Ruva from under that flower crown and then...lifts a hand to gently touch a petal.]

... For me? Really?

[ditherer]

No, for your twin brother Binato. Yes, you.

[messianic]

[Wow!! You don't have to be rude about it!!]

Well... thank you, Ruva-san. Sorry for the surprise--I just didn't expect it. [At all. Why would someone like Ruva consider him "worthy", even if by a loose definition?]

And why not? You're one of the worthiest people I can think of here.

[admittedly, there's not a lot of competition when gandharva's opinion of people mostly ranges from neutral to "well, i guess they amuse me."]

[And Minato's mouth...snaps shut immediately. There's a difference between receiving one of those flower crowns from a friend, from someone who he knows appreciates his company just as he appreciates theirs and--

Gandharva says it so simply, so to the point, and even if his bar is set pretty low... Minato is still not expecting it at all. He's definitely looking very blindsided at that, at a thorough loss for words, one hand reaching up to touch the petals gently.

And, after a moment longer, he dips his head quietly.]

... Then... thank you, Ruva-san. [It's said very quietly, though, overwhelmed as he is.]

[... in a way, minato's reaction startles gandharva. humans definitely do not act this way around him.]

[Minato says that firmly, hands shoved back into his pockets as he meets Gandharva's eyes.]

So I do need to thank you. Because I'm grateful to you for this--and for your feelings.

Well, this is a little unfair. I was supposed to be thanking you, after all; you weren't meant to turn that on me.
