[At first, when your SFC clicks on, all that can be seen is blue--the blue of the ocean above the barrier. The video seems to be...rocking back and forth, slowly, and the gentle slap slap slap of what might be...small waves...? against something can be heard.

A long pause.

Then the video shifts and changes before settling on a young man who seems to be...lying down, holding the SFC up, peering at it.

A red light...?]

...It's recording...?

[A puzzled (and slightly soggy) blink, and he begins to sit up.]

Why am I on a boat--

[Too late. His sitting up tilts the small boat off balance.

Tilting--

[ ... Obviously, he saw Minato going down. Never mind where he was, all that mattered was that he'd dive in to save him.

And he did. Extending his arms out to grab his friend-- ]

...Ryoji-kun?

[ That gurgling sound you hear? Means you are sort of on top of him, dude.

And he'll be moving off, helping Ryoji up. Looks like it's shallow enough here to stand up in the lake, at least.

[ Annnnnd standing up now! He kind of flings a little water with him. ]

I-I'm fine. Are you alright, Minato-kun? I saw you falling off that boat, so I came to try and catch you.

[ ... Except he kind of miscalculated a ton of stuff. ]

Perhaps a slightly more mournful look when he realizes it is completely soaked and no longer works.]

[ He shakes his head. ]

[ ... Ryoji is adept in reading your lineface by now, Minato, and he can tell your mp3 player is probably dead, too. ]

[ And... hm. Something is weird--he pauses and sticks his hand in his oh-so wet pocket, then... o hai, SFC. It is orange, with a little black skull on the back. He turns it over, perking up. ]

Oh, sweet! Free swag!

[ *A* AWESOME. ] Hey, Minato-kun! Check this thing out! What do you think it is?

He pulls out his, a toned down dark blue, and shakes his head.]

They seem to be like phones. Although...this one also had a recording function.

[VIDEO CALLS?

We'll find another scarf as well.

... But I liked THIS scarf...

Although this phone thing is kinda cool. I wonder why it's shaped like a star...?

If we dry it off, it might not be ruined.

It's kind of cute! I wonder if they're for us! I really hope we can keep them!

[Inspecting the scarf now. And then he wanders over to a shop that has towels. A short exchange later and he stands there looking a little confused, having been given free towels.

Well, alright then.

Clearly, saving Ryoji's scarf = priority, because he'll lay out a towel and spread the scarf out onto it first, before standing and offering Ryoji another of the towels.]

I'm not sure. Perhaps whoever brought us here?

So... why do you think we were brought here?

[ Annnd drying off some. Of course like a true bro, once he's done he gives the towel to Minato. ]

[He accepts the towel with a nod of thanks, toweling his own hair dry.]

...If we were brought here for a reason, I wonder if the others are here.

[That's also another 'I don't know'. And he sets to gently pressing the moisture from Ryoji's scarf next. It's...best to not ask how he learned these things. That time spent with Bebe seems to have come in handy.]

I dunno. But if they are, it might be better if I just stay with you...

[ Ahahaha~ Awkward. ]

[When that is done, there's really nothing to do but sit and wait for it to dry. So he sits, fully expecting Ryoji to catch the hint and sit eventually as well.]

[ ... He just sits as well, looking pretty miserable, what hollow smiles he'd managed to hide behind are gone now. ]
